Mark Husbands

A native of Panama City, Florida, Mark Husbands is a multi-talented musician and percussionist, and a top-notch recording and mixing engineer. He attended famed Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he majored in drums, Latin percussion, and audio recording. Mark also attended Musician's Institute in Hollywood, California.

After many years of nightclub, concert, and studio performances, touring in the US, Japan, Europe, the Middle East, and Hawaii, Mark moved to Hilton Head Island in 1988 to join "The Headliners" as drummer and singer. The five-member group performs for corporate and private events all over the United States and the Caribbean.

Mark is also a favorite at local venues and private club events, performing as a one-man-band, "The Single Husbands Band", singing and playing drums with custom produced music tracks - with his wife Lise handling the mixing sound board. In season and when available, he appears on Thursday nights from 6-10 pm at the very popular Reilley's Grill & Bar Restaurant outdoor patio, near the Sea Pines Circle on Hilton Head Island.

Over the years, Mark has played drums on and/or engineered a great variety of recording projects, from live concerts, to big band and demo recordings in the studio, and multiple bands at The Jazz Corner.

Mark and Lise, also record The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra concerts, and produce archival CDs of their performances.
